Brunton, T. Lauder (Thomas Lauder), 1844-1916

Sir Thomas Lauder Brunton, 1844-1916, was born in Scotland, but spent the majority of his career in London. In 1867 he discovered that amyl nitrate effectively relieved pain of angina pectoris.
